The reward system works wonders in my opinion. If the child likes stickers or somewhat healthy treats reward them every successful attempt is made and continue giving praise like you have been. If the potty trainer is not liked there are other trainers that rest ontop of an actual toilet lid and can make them feel more of a “big kid” but they would need assistance to get onto it so maybe have your child come to you first to help them get onto the “big kid” toilet.

I bought my son ‘big boy underwear’ with charachters on, and had him wear them all day instead of a diaper or pull ups…then I told him to be really careful because ‘spongebob’ or whoever is on the undies, doesn’t want to get wet. Then I just did what you’ve been doing….take him every little bit to the loo and have him try….and absolutely..treats treats treats!! My son has been potty trained 9 months now and still wants treats for poo in the potty! (although he still wears pull ups at night!)
