Question by Jess: Maternity clothes?
I have bought clothes in the past at motherhood. They are expensive and seem to wear easily, but I do like them. I’ve bought a few things from Old navy, but where is YOUR personal favorite store to shop maternity? Thanks!

I love Old Navy Maternity and motherhood! I also like Liz Lang at Target but they can be as pricey as motherhood

Target, Liz Lange makes the cutest stuff and they are usually very inexpensive. Also if you live near an outlet mall Motherhood outlet is much cheaper than the regular store. Also try ebay, since maternity clothes aren’t usually worn for that long you can find adorable clothes at super cheap, good luck

For pants, I wore normal jeans, as most of the juniors sizes are low cut and sat under my belly anyway. For shirts, first I started buying larger sizes, but they feel awkward with your belly sometimes, so I found some here and there when I was out. I got a couple maternity shirts at Kmart, but the ones I liked best I got at Target. They were very soft, they looked like a nice regular top, but had the right fit to accomodate my little basketball belly. Very comfortable. I think they were called In Due Time.

i like motherhood for the dressier stuff… i bought tank tops from there and the seemed to shrink… old navy tank tops are alot better for fitting… just what i have noticed… oh yah and motherhood just makes you feel so much better with the pants sizes… i was never a small before and thats what i fit into there!!!

If you’re looking for a good deal, try looking at the lots of maternity clothes on Ebay. I found a lot with 22 pieces of clothing and won it for $70. The clothes were mostly lightly used and very nice.

I just won an auction on ebay and got 2 pairs of shorts, 7 pairs of pants and 9 shirts….all for under $75! I usually don’t go for used stuff….but consider how long you actually wear them…..it turned out when they arrived they were great. Some even still had tags. Go for it!
