So what was it like for you? Did your first child give you a lot of trouble coming into this world or was it relatively easy? Were you afraid of labor pains? Were they as bad as you feared?

Oh my! My first baby gave me a hard time! The pain was excruciating! I was in labor for six hours and my baby did not want to come out. Then he changed his position, so the doctor decided to do the ceasarean instead.Sad

My son was 20 days late.  I came into the hospital the Monday after Thanksgiving to be induced.  Wednesday they let me go home because he was just not ready.  The next Monday I came in again to start the induction procedure again.  Finally Tuesday at 7am in morning, without warning me, the doctor broke my water.  My son was finally born, via a c-section, Wed at 12:17am.  I had a few moments of discomfort and pain, but for the most part I was medicated.  The most painful part of giving birth for me was the aftermath of the C-section.

Having labor to my two daughters would be the worst pain I have felt in my entire life but all the pain would be as worth it because something very beautiful came out. Giving birth is not as easy as 1,2,3 it is the beginning of rearing a child, taking care 24/7 and all the stuff about motherhood and parenting.

I've tried to block it out of my mind.  But out of that pain has come greater joy than could be imagined.

There was a woman across the street from me who had the easiest pregnancy I've ever seen.  I'm envious.

I opted for an epidural, but I am not sure what kind of epidural I got because it wore off right in the middle of giving birth. It was pretty painful of course, and labor was around 12 hours, but it could have been worse so I am not complaining.

I heard Yoga makes pregnancy easier? Is this correct?

My pregnancy was HORRIBLE!  I was super sick and lost my voice for like 2 and a half months! Then I was put on bedrest for the last 12 weeks of my pregnancy.  This all happened during the WINTER in WISCONSIN!!  My baby was 2 weeks late, but when she decided to come the labor was only 4 hours, completely natural and totally awesome!  Almost one year later she is the happiest baby ever!  Whatever happens it will be worth it in the end!!
